Red Sox win! Red Sox win!

I never thought I would see a Red Sox World Series Championship in my life time, I guess I was right...I've now seen two!

I can honestly say we won.

Evidence: the Hennigan brothers attended game 2 of the 2004 World Series which the Sox won on their way to a sweep. The Hennigan brothers (1 in spirit) attended game 2 of the 2007 World Series which the Sox won on their way to, you guessed it, a sweep.

People, can it be any clearer???

Many thanks to Ortiz, Manny, Schill, Pap, Tek, et al. 2 World Series in 4 years? Imagine what it must be like to be a 10 year old and actually expect this level of success with such regularity.

2 more updates to follow. One: our trip to Prague which was amazing. Two: other random bits including an NFL game and another happy Hennigan London tour recipient.

May you all sleep well under the banner of another Red Sox World Championship.

Miss us?

Bueller? Bueller?

So it's been awhile since we posted and it may seem like a lot has been going on, and in some respects it has, just not so sure the great sweaty masses will find it so.

Our primary activity in Sept/Oct was moving our location. We moved from hip Islington to low-key trendy Putney. If you're familiar with London at all you will know this amounts to treason of the highest degree; but you know what...we love it.

Putney suits us much better. Sure we don't have the 2 BRs and 2 Bathrooms but for all that convenience the guest accommodation was only used a handful of times, AHEM!!! (you get a pass Ja).

So now we're down here in quiet leafy Putney and it has felt more like home than Islington ever did. So why don't you all come home? Don't you want to go home?

Besides moving and settling in we've been trying to enjoy our non-work lives. Brian's been playing squash with a friend every weekend (and he's good!). Kirsten's been living the good life in our garden.

We went to a Turkish-British wedding a couple of weeks back. Let's just say if that was a sign of international relations then it'll take a long time for those two sides to come together. All in all it was a lot of fun and we learned some new wedding traditions, maybe for our next one.

Anyway, K-dawg is taking me to a secret location for my birthday in a couple of weeks so we'll have more to report then. Please note that all the birthday gifts you've surely sent may be delayed due to an ongoing Royal Mail strike. Yes, I'm sure that's the reason for the big delays...
