Welcome Cameron
Our very dear friends Dina and Jon welcomed their first daughter Cameron Grace to the world at 8:30 AM on Saturday the 18th of October. The only disappointing thing about the birth is that it didn't happen 5 days later, in which case I had it on good authority the baby would have been known as Brian or Brianna, oh well, you can't win them all.We had the good fortune to meet little Cameron today and she is exquisite. While she didn't do anything more than sleep with the occassional stretch, she is a beautiful baby and well deserved for one of our favourite couples.
As an added bonus they asked Kirsten to be the godmother. What a special honour for Kirsten, a great thing for Jon and Dina to do, and a very lucky little Cameron indeed to have such a wonderful person to provide guidance throughout her life.
What a weekend, sometimes you don't need to travel very far to have a fantastic adventure or start a wonderful journey.
