I have secured a flat in a very chic trendy area of London called Islington, more specifically Angel. Moved my 2 50 lb. bags in this morning at 9:30 - the first time I've seen this time of the day since I've been here.

Attended a DNA company meeting Thursday night and afterwards went out for a leaving party, it's always good to get out socially with your soon to be workmates. Seems like a good group, should be a lot of fun. As an extra bonus everyone enjoys going out for a beer - I think I am going to feel right at home.

I have been using the DNA offices as my free internet cafe, they finally caught on, I have actually been doing some limited pro bono work just because I need something to do.

This city is f*&^ing expensive, I may have miscalculated how much I'll need to get through to the end of October when I receive my first paycheck. Donations are being accepted.

I have been in a lift, almost been hit by several lorries, been on the tube, had a curry, used my mobile, and scheduled (silent c) some meetings in my diary. Union jack underwear can't be too far behind.

Went into a pub and the Steelers game was on replay, I ordered a pint and began watching enveloped by the warmth of home - when someone yelled "What is this shite, put the fucking football match on" at which point they put on some sort of low level soccer match - fuckers.

Kirsten arrives in 3 weeks...the countdown continues...
